  • Ceiling Mount TV Installation in Historic Old Town

    After the success of my last TV installation project, I was thrilled to take on a brand-new challenge at a different location—in the heart of historic Old Town! This time, I got to flex some new skills: mounting a TV from the ceiling.

    Stepping Up: The Ceiling Mount Advantage

    Old Town is known for its unique architecture and cozy business spaces. Occasionally, that means wall space is at a premium, or the viewing angles for a wall-mounted TV just aren’t ideal. In this case, the best solution was a sleek, efficient ceiling mount. Not only does it save space, but it also gives everyone in the room a perfect view—exactly what a modern menu display or information screen needs.

    The Process: Precision From Above

    Ceiling mounting is a more technical task than your average wall install. I started by carefully checking the ceiling beams and structure to make sure the mount would be 100% secure for the long haul. With all the right anchors and tools, I mapped out the perfect spot and got to work.

    After attaching the mount and lifting the TV into place (a solid upper-body workout!), I made sure all the wiring was neat, hidden, and safe. Once everything was set, I powered up the display—right in the center of the action, perfectly angled for everyone to see.

    Why Ceiling Mounts Make a Difference

    Not only does the ceiling mount look clean and professional, but it also brings real versatility to a space—no more crowding up the counters or blocking windows. In a character-rich place like Old Town, it was the right call to keep the atmosphere open while still adding modern tech.

    Best of all? The staff were thrilled, the menu looked sharp, and everyone who walked in could tell this was a real upgrade.

    Final Thoughts

    I did install TV Mount, and It was so simple to do. This time was doing one TV Measure so 24 inch both side TV on back. Then add another 24 inch so that where the second mount screw will be at. So helpful resource.

  • Mount Digital Menu Board TVs: Pro Installation

    If you’ve ever tried mounting a TV—especially in a business where customer eyes are on it all day—you know there’s no room for error. This week, I took on the challenge of mounting two TVs as digital menu boards. Not only did I have two different styles of mounts to work with, but I wanted it to look flawless.

    Step 1: Assessing the Hardware

    With the TVs laid out and ready, I double-checked the mounting systems. As you can see in the first photo, I had two entirely unique mounts—one a sleek low-profile style, and the other a hearty articulating arm. This meant double the math and double the measuring to make sure both TVs would line up perfectly on the wall.

    Step 2: Measure Twice, Drill Once

    I took no shortcuts: every measurement was checked twice, and I factored in both the mounting difference and the wall space above the coffee shop counter. Installing menu screens leaves zero room for crookedness—customers can spot a mistake from across the room!

    Step 3: The Perfect Reveal

    The result? Check out the second photo! Both TVs are mounted perfectly, creating a seamless, professional digital menu board. The screens are aligned, secure, and look absolutely stunning against the backdrop of the coffee shop.

    What I Learned (and Why I’m Proud)

    • Planning matters. Don’t assume all mounting brackets are the same, even if the TVs are.
    • Precision is everything. There’s no such thing as “good enough” for digital displays.
    • A job done right gets noticed. Not a single customer has noticed the mounts—and that’s exactly how it should be.

    So, I’ll go ahead and say it: I nailed this install, and these menu screens are proof that if you take your time and trust your skills, you can get the perfect result!

  • TV Wall Mount Installation Guide: Step-by-Step

    I have removed the television and replaced the screws and anchors. There is a significant amount of dust behind the left-hand TV, and I haven’t yet cleaned the right-hand side. So, I vacuumed from the left to the right, then when we upgraded the TV, I will vacuum from the left to the right, which makes it very convenient. My vacuum is powerful. 🙌

  • Finding Love and Support With Jasmine

    Welcome to my new life, I’ve moved on from my previous relationship. On February 6, 2024, I decided to ask her out for a movie and dinner with me, and she agreed because Jasmine is the one who saved me and life’s changing and amazing soon-to-be housewife. I am seeking a partner who is responsible for household duties as well as providing love and care to my feline companions. We’ve been having a blast, loving and supporting each other. She showed up when I needed her. I’m so in love with her, and my mom and I see her taking responsibility. I am Thankful and blessing.

    In October and November 2023, she attempted to call 911 when I had seizures. Jasmine lived with us as our roommate. My ex told her not to call 911, but her old friend did and took me to the hospital. She and our old friends are very much appreciated by me. Or, I will risk dying. She lived with me for 4 years in Texas and Washington. Not only that, but she is wonderful and responsible for chores and takes care of our cats and blessing and happy and love and well feeding. And always listen and solve problems together. I love our goal to success to calm and behavior.

    What an incredible experience! This week, I took on a home project that I’d always thought was best left to professionals—I installed a ceiling TV mount. If you’ve ever thought about saving some space or adding a unique touch to your living room, trust me: you can do it yourself, and it’s genuinely exciting!

    Getting Started: Facing My DIY Fears

    I’ll be honest—when I first opened the box, I was a little intimidated. There were anchors and bolts and an impressively sturdy pole, and I immediately started second-guessing whether I could safely hang a flat screen from my ceiling. But with a little patience and some YouTube tutorial inspiration, I dove right in.

    Step by Step: Anchors Away!

    Securing the mount using anchors was actually much easier than I expected. I measured (twice!), marked my spots, and drilled the anchors firmly into the ceiling. Each step gave me a small wave of accomplishment. There’s something incredibly satisfying about hearing that anchor click into place!

    Mounting the TV: A Jaw-Dropping Moment

    Once I attached the ceiling mount pole, the rest came together even faster than I imagined. Holding the TV steady and fitting it onto the pole gave me such a rush—it really started to feel real. Within minutes, my TV was hanging in the perfect spot.

    Added Peace of Mind: Extra Security

    Not wanting to take any chances, I went the extra mile and added additional support behind the TV. Now, my setup feels rock solid—no movement, no wobble, just total peace of mind. 🎉🎈

    Final Thoughts

    This entire project wasn’t just about home improvement. It was about pushing myself out of my comfort zone and discovering how fulfilling a DIY win can be! If you’re thinking about a ceiling mount for your TV, go for it. You might just surprise yourself, too.

    Today, May 12, 2024, I successfully replaced the wall mounts with ceiling mounts for both televisions. 📺🔧🛠️

    I set both TVs down to take accurate measurements before drilling the holes. The process went smoothly, and the entire job took me about three hours.

  • HP Victus 16-d0013dx: Fix Missing Storage Drivers Windows 11

    1. Extract the Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers to the USB flash drive

    Download Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) drivers from the HP Software and Drivers webpage and extract them to the USB flash drive.

    1. Go to Download this Intel Rapid Storage Technology for this specific 16-d0013dx
    2. Copy and paste the downloaded .exe file to the USB flash drive that you are going to use to install Windows 10.
    3. We have to use another Windows PC to get the extract file to run the SP147234, then it will fail on another PC because the other PC wasn’t the same model. Move the file C:SWSetup to the flash drive with the Windows 10 installation.

    2. Install Windows 10 from the USB flash drive

    Load the missing storage driver, and then install Windows 10.

    1. Insert the Windows installation USB flash drive into the computer.
    2. Select the language and keyboard layout, and then click Next.
    3. Click Install now.
    4. If requested, enter your Windows product key, and then click Next. If Windows was previously activated, skip this step.
    5. Select the edition of the operating system to install, and then click Next.
    6. Select I accept the license terms, and then click Next.
    7. Click Load driver.
    8. Click Browse to navigate to the location of the driver.
    9. Navigate to the sp147234 folder where the IRST driver was downloaded, and then expand it.
    10. Click the F6 folder, and then click OK.
    11. Select either driver option in the list, and then click Next.
    12. The drive is displayed.
    13. Click Format to format the drive, and then click Next to start the Windows installation.

    Continue through the installation procedure until the installation is complete.

Knowing that the cats no longer have to worry about food, warmth, or shelter fills me with tremendous relief and happiness. Each day, I watch them playing together, purring contentedly, and curling up on soft blankets – they are truly thriving in this new environment.

    Thank you so much, Mom, for welcoming not only us but also these precious animals into your life. Your compassion has given them safety and the chance to discover what it means to be loved. When I see their bright eyes, happy tails, and hear their gentle purrs, my heart is full. They look so joyful, always exploring their new home and seeking cuddles, and I can see how happy they are by the way they smile and relax. It means so much to both me and these sweet cats. Thank you, Mom, for making all of this possible. Your love and kindness have made a true difference for us and for every one of our six furry friends. <3

    I decided to sanding this table to restore its appearance and then paint it with weatherproof paint so it would look new again. We noticed that the table was very shiny, worn out, and even starting to bend. After sanding and painting, it looks great once more.
