  • Jasmine and I went to Grayland, WA (Breakwater Resort) and had a great time together while I worked.

On the first day at 2pm, I dedicated my full attention to the comprehensive installation of all access points, wireless bridges, and new wiring to replace the outdated, non-weatherproof cables. On the second day, I noticed that the NanoStation had gone offline. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the device was irreparably damaged—most likely due to an electrical surge—and was no longer operational. Additionally, the connector had melted. I promptly replaced the Cat6 cable and installed a new connector. After setting up a replacement NanoStation, the system returned to normal, and we now have a stable internet connection.

Day 1 (evening) and Day 2 were truly delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed spending quality time with Jasmine—we watched our favorite movies and TV series together and cooked some delicious meals. We also took a nice walk outside. Later, we indulged in a cheat-day dessert as we relaxed and made the most of our vacation.

On our last day at the cottage, we set out to find the beach but ended up losing our way. Our search led us to a “No Trespassing” sign, which left me feeling a little uneasy. Despite not reaching the beach, we enjoyed a peaceful walk along a scenic trail and had a wonderful time exploring the area. Afterward, we strolled back to the hotel and then headed to the cottage by car. Even though we didn’t get to the beach or touch the water this time, we’re excited to try again soon!
