IT/Network Setup for Small Business

Welcome! I built this website to share my work and expertise with the community. If your business needs assistance with network setup, IT support, or technical troubleshooting, I have the hands-on experience to help — and I'd be glad to do so.

I currently manage four Ubuntu-based Docker servers running AdGuard Home as DNS servers. These servers help prevent torrent usage and ensure fair, secure network access for all users. I am also responsible for maintaining the Omada Network Admin Controller on a dedicated server.

I am passionate about helping businesses optimize their IT infrastructure to support growth and operational efficiency. I hold three professional certifications — Linux Server Administration, IT Help Desk, and Cisco — and am currently pursuing my CompTIA certification to further expand my expertise.

Anthem Coffee and Tea

• Configured guest and admin network segmentation using tagged VLAN groups, ensuring complete isolation between guest and internal systems when Guest Network is enabled.
• Installed and managed Square Point of Sale systems with full cable management and wire organization over a four-year engagement.
• Oversaw the transition from Square to Joe's Point of Sale and Mobile to Go, resulting in a smoother, more reliable checkout experience.

Joe Coffee Mobile to Go

• Deployed Esper MDM on hardware, installed the Joe app, and completed device pairing for the company fleet.
• Packaged and shipped devices — including tablets, chargers, and chip readers — safely and ready for use upon arrival.
• Maintained inventory levels and ensured the office was consistently stocked with necessary equipment.
• Provided both on-site and remote troubleshooting support for clients.

What I Do for These Businesses

I am responsible for setting up and maintaining networks, computers, tablets, and point-of-sale systems. This includes hardware troubleshooting and IT help desk support to assist employees with technical issues. For Anthem Coffee, I provide full hosting and network management — including a customized Wi-Fi splash page and DNS-based content filtering for torrent and inappropriate content blocking — keeping the network clean, fast, and professionally managed.
